My friendly name is Tina. I am a trainee teacher who is currently doing my internship at SM ST Peter Telipok, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. During this time, I learn how to teach in a real classroom and apply what I have studied. This experience helps me understand students better and choose suitable teaching methods to make lessons clear and interesting.
Before and during my internship, I also have informal teaching experience. I teach my younger sibling at home and help hostel students when I worked as a hostel warden. From these experiences, I learn to be patient, give clear explanations, and use simple ways to help students understand based on their level.
My best achievement is helping students improve their basic skills such as reading, writing, and speaking. I also build a good relationship with students so they feel comfortable and enjoy learning. Besides that, I try to plan simple and creative activities to make lessons more engaging.
Overall, I am a responsible and hardworking person. I always try to improve my teaching skills and become a better teacher. I hope I can continue to gain more experience and become a teacher who can make a positive difference in students’ lives.
