I am an engineer by training and an educator at heart. With over 26 years of experience in complex problem solving, performance monitoring and structured reporting. I have developed a strong ability to break down difficult concepts into simple & logical steps, a skill that translates directly to teaching young learners. Educated at the Royal Military College (RMC), Sungai Besi, I was instilled with discipline, patience, integrity and a structured approach to all tasks. These core values now shape my tutoring philosophy in creating a consistent, supportive and focused learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. As a former Project Manager, I learned how to plan, track progress, and adapt quickly when things do not go as expected. I apply the same method to tutoring by assessing each student's current level, setting realistic goals, monitoring improvement and adjusting my teaching style to match their learning pace. My technical career involved mentoring junior engineers, leading teams and explaining performance issues to clients and regulators all of which have strengthened my communication, patience and ability to rephrase explanations until they are fully understood. I am now looking to bring this same structured discipline, analytical thinking and genuine care for progress to students who need extra support in building their foundational knowledge and confidence.
