I am a dedicated and passionate English teacher with a strong academic background in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), holding both a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree. Throughout my teaching journey, I have gained valuable experience working with different curricula, including the Cambridge IGCSE, JEC syllabus, and the Malaysian National syllabus. This exposure has allowed me to adapt my teaching strategies to suit diverse student needs in both physical and online learning environments.
Currently, I am serving as a homeroom teacher at Aspirational Primary School, where I focus on creating engaging and student-centered lessons that encourage active participation and confidence in communication. I believe that learning should be interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable, especially for young learners. I consistently design creative lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities to support students’ language development and critical thinking skills.
Previously, I have taught at Pin Hwa High School, Cambridge English Centre, and completed my practicum at SMK Bukit Sentosa and SK Kuala Selangor. These experiences have strengthened my classroom management skills, lesson delivery, and ability to build positive relationships with students. I am also experienced in online teaching, where I guide students through structured lessons and provide personalized feedback to support their progress.

I also apply the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, which emphasizes real-life communication. I design activities such as role-plays, dialogues, and situation-based tasks so students can practice speaking in meaningful contexts. This helps students improve their fluency and feel more comfortable using English in daily situations.
In addition, I use differentiated instruction to cater to students with different learning abilities. I modify tasks, provide visual aids, and simplify instructions when needed to ensure all students can participate and understand the lesson. For younger learners, I include games, songs, and visual materials to make learning more enjoyable and effective.
Technology integration is another important part of my teaching. I utilize digital tools such as slides, videos, and online platforms to enhance lesson delivery and keep students engaged, especially in online learning settings.
Assessment is carried out continuously through both formal and informal methods, including worksheets, class participation, and short activities. This allows me to monitor student progress and provide immediate feedback for improvement.
