Hi, I’m Devan. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.
Alongside my studies, I’ve been teaching tuition for about 3 years, handling students from tadika, primary, and secondary levels up to Form 5. This experience helped me develop patience and the ability to adjust my teaching style based on each student’s level and understanding.
I enjoy simplifying concepts, especially in math and science, and I focus on helping students really understand rather than just memorize. I find it rewarding to see students improve and gain confidence.

Teaching Method(s)
For online classes, I focus on keeping lessons structured and interactive so students don’t lose focus.
I usually start with a short review of previous topics, then introduce the new concept using simple explanations and examples. I use tools like a digital whiteboard to write and explain step by step, especially for math and science.
After that, I let students try questions on their own while I guide them, so I can see how well they understand. I also encourage them to ask questions anytime to keep the session interactive.
At the end, I’ll summarise the key points and sometimes give a few practice questions for reinforcement.
