Hello! Iām Najmi, a Bachelor of Education (TESL) student with a strong passion for helping students improve their English skills in a practical and engaging way. I have experience in teaching and lesson planning aligned with CEFR standards, focusing on building studentsā confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. I believe that learning English should be interactive, relatable, and enjoyableānot just memorising rules. I also integrate technology and creative approaches in my lessons to make learning more effective and meaningful. My goal is to help students not only perform well academically, but also use English confidently in real-life situations. In addition to English, I also teach Pendidikan Islam, emphasising understanding over memorisation, and guide students to appreciate the subject while applying it in their daily lives. As a Tahfiz graduate from SMKA Kuala Lumpur, I can guide students in Hifz Al-Quran, including memorisation techniques and tajwid support.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand concepts clearly rather than memorising. I use step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and guided practice to ensure students fully grasp each topic. I also adapt my teaching style based on the studentās level and learning pace, making sure lessons are comfortable and effective.
