About Me
My name is Izzat. Although I do not hold a formal degree in education, I have consistently achieved strong academic results, particularly in Mathematics and Science, since my secondary school years in SMKA Kedah (SPM 11A) (Tahfiz Background). During that time, I frequently assisted my classmates in understanding challenging topics, which naturally developed my skills as an informal tutor.

This experience continued throughout my foundation (CGPA: 3.94) and degree studies in Mechanical Engineering (CGPA: 3.13), where I actively guided peers in their learning. My key strength lies in my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and simple manner, helping students build a strong foundation in their subjects.

My greatest achievement is being able to help my peers improve their academic performance and gain confidence in their studies through better understanding and effective learning techniques.

I break down complex topics into simpler, more relatable explanations. In Math and Science, understanding the “why” is just as important as knowing the “how.”

2. Step-by-Step Problem Solving
I train students to approach problems in a structured and systematic way, which helps them avoid common mistakes and build logical thinking skills.

3. Active Recall & Practice
I frequently test students through exercises without relying on notes. This strengthens memory retention and deepens understanding.

4. Exam-Oriented Strategy
I teach students how to answer questions effectively based on exam formats (such as SPM), including identifying keywords, managing time, and maximizing marks.

5. Real-Life Application Approach
For Science subjects, I relate concepts to real-life situations to make learning more engaging and easier to understand.

6. Strengthening Fundamentals
I emphasize building a strong foundation before moving on to more advanced topics, ensuring students do not struggle with complex questions later on.

I believe that every student learns differently. Therefore, I tailor my teaching methods to suit each student’s needs and pace. I also encourage students to ask questions and think critically so they can fully understand the subject rather than simply follow steps.
