Hi i am Teacher Ash. I have 3 years of home tuition experience teaching students aged 6 to Standard 6. I also have experience as a Kumon tutor and a part-time tutor at a Cambridge Learning Centre. I am patient, responsible, and able to guide students according to their learning pace while helping them build confidence and improve academically.
Teaching Method(s)
In my classes, I conduct lessons in a structured but flexible way, starting with a short review of previous topics before introducing new content step by step. I use a student-centred teaching style, where I guide rather than simply lecture, allowing students to actively participate through questions, practice, and discussion. My teaching methods are adapted according to each learner’s pace and understanding.
I use a mix of learning materials such as worksheets, textbook exercises, visual aids, interactive activities, and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and application of knowledge. I also incorporate simple real-life examples to make lessons easier to relate to.
Through consistent practice, targeted guidance, and regular feedback, students can improve their understanding, build confidence, and perform better in school assessments and exams over time.
