My name is Nurul Shafika Binti Shaal. Everyone can call me Shafika or Shaf. I'm currently in my 3rd year degree in educational science (physics) at University Technology Malaysia, Skudai. I'm passionate in maths and science especially physics. Currently, I'm on my Teaching Practice at SMK SULTAN Ibrahim, Kulai and Teaching mathematics and physics.
Teaching Method(s)
The best teaching methods that can be applied in teaching is student centred learning whereas it focuses on students’ active participation rather than teacher explanation only. Students discuss, explore, and solve problems independently or in groups. Next, inquiry based learning which is students learn by asking questions, investigating, and discovering answers through exploration and research. Other than that, games based learning. Educational games, quizzes, and competitions make learning more fun and engaging while increasing motivation.
